Our standard walking holiday offers a range of self guided walks, all suitable for a days walking. You have the freedom to walk or do your own thing.
We do need to point out that this area is hilly and that the walk distances are designed for enjoyable walking each day. You may well lose and gain 2000 feet in one walk, so your heart will get pumping and you will feel like you have earnt your cream tea at the end!
Recommended self guided walks on offer for our standard walking holiday
Dunster to Grabbist Hill and Bats Castle: 6.8 miles circular, 504 metres ascent, 5+ hours
Allerford to Dunster: 9.9 miles linear, 454 metres ascent, 6.5 hours
Porlock Weir to Countisbury: 10.4 miles linear, 1127 metres ascent, 7.5 hours
Allerford to Selworthy: 7.1 miles circular, 500 metres ascent, 5 hours
Timberscombe to Dunster: 6.4 miles linear, 394 metres ascent, 4.5 hours
Washford to Dunster: 7.4 miles linear, 358 metres ascent, 5.5 hours with ride on West Somerset Steam Railway.
South West Coast Path fully guided, linear walking holiday, Exmoor section
We offer you the chance to walk the first 35 miles of the longest National Trail, the South West Coast Path. This holiday includes transport to and from each days linear walk. These holidays are only available on set dates, or at any time by arrangement for groups of 10 people or more.
This holiday is split into 4 sections, Minehead to Porlock Weir, Porlock Weir to Countisbury, Countisbury to Hunters Inn, Hunters Inn to Combe Martin. 3267 metres ascent

South West Coast Path Self Guided Mini Breaks
We can offer, throughout the year, Self Guided mini-breaks of one or two days duration walking between Minehead and Porlock Weir.
We can offer assistance with Transport arrangements if pre-booked.
Coleridge Way linear walking holiday
We offer you the chance to walk the whole of the Coleridge Way, 36 miles from Nether Stowey to Porlock. As with the coast path walk, this walk includes transport to and from each days linear walk. Transport is only available by arrangement.
This holiday is split into 4 sections, Nether Stowey to West Quantoxhead, West Quantoxhead to Roadwater, Roadwater to Wheddon Cross, Wheddon Cross to Porlock. 2153 metres ascent
